In partnership with Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Lifeline has supplied the Malaysian Airport with Staxi pushchairs for the ‘Happy Guests, Caring Hosts’ Service Culture and ‘Senior Citizen and Family-Friendly’ Transformation Programme, one of the various efforts carried out by the airport to create a more enjoyable and pleasant experience for travellers at the airport.

According to chief executive officer Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin, this service culture transformation is a follow through of various initiatives that have been implemented to further improve the overall airport experience for travellers of different backgrounds.

The initiative included deploying 100 wheelchairs, 50 baby strollers and having 40 selected, trained and assessed airport staff to be ambassadors and to provide relevant assistance to the disabled community accordingly, for both the physically and cognitively disabled.

Lifeline was involved in the launch of deploying new Staxi pushchairs, to allow the elderly and physically disabled to have a more pleasurable airport travelling experience, due to the convenience of the amenity of pushchairs provided.

Pushchairs are now available to these communities for free at the airport, to aid in their experience when travelling at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2.
